PART 2

the commons

This place is like the “foyer” in FRANCE

There are two pianos and there are guitars available for students.

It’s a place for students to hang out during their free periods.

There are tables and chairs and it is an open space.

During lunch time it’s often crowded.

lunch

There are different lunch times, it depends on your schedule and it’s only 40 minutes

the meal is very different, and there are :

- a main dish - fruits - soups

- salad bar with a lot of toppings

- a lot of choices for drinks (milk, ice tea, orange, apple and cranberrie juice or water)

- many seasonings

teachers and students eat together

  • At lunch we don't have a tray.
  • After we eat our meal we can go to the salad bar. it's all cold food (we can find carrots, lettuce, sweet potatoes, cucumbers, eggs, apples, bananas, etc.... ) we can eat as much as we like.
  • There is also the possibility of making sandwiches; we can toast the bread and add jam, butter or fake peanut butter, (NWS respects students' intolerances by also offering vegan dishes).

  • Every door leading to the outside has a code to open it.
