sports
Sports are much more intensive than in France. there's one sport per semester. at the time we were there it was basketball. But there's also volleyball, soccer, running, ultimate, dance...
Students have one sport per term some students have no sport during a term, they have to accumulate a sport credit.
They train every evening and play a match during the weekend.
There are 4 basketball teams 2 girls' teams 2 boys' teams.
The teams really want to represent their school the sport is very important to them and their school's reputation.
There's a lot of inequality in sport - more money goes to the boys' teams than the girls'.
And sport is very intense in the U.S. They have sport 6 days out of 7 at school. .
